I bought this item roughly a month ago. It puts my old dishwasher to SHAME. Its more quiet and quite more efficient. I can control it with my device and dont feel I have to rewash.

We were using a portable machine until our kitchen remodel was done. Really liked the features and the black stainless color. Love how quiet it is and it does a great job cleaning. Looks really nice with the new cabinets. We have other LG appliances and have had really good luck them.

We have shopped around and tried other name brands but one thing that is certain we ALWAYS come back to LG products. From TVs washers dryers microwaves and Frederators....dont waste another dollar or minute of your time. This new dishwasher is absolutely the best we have ever owned. Its fast quite and cleans the dishes the first time .

We just purchased an LG Thin Q model LDTH7972D. Weve not owned a top control dishwasher in the past but it seems odd that you need to open the door perhaps mid-cycle to access the controls or even see the remaining time for the current function. I suppose this protects the panel. There are 3 small LEDs on the front just above the handle. I find no reference in the manual as to their function. Any ideas?
