We purchased this unit approximately 2 years ago and are satisfied with it's performance and like the looks of it. I would recommend purchasing an extended warranty as our unit is making load noises now and needs service.

Bought my first white ice fridge on 2014 and had nothing but problems, was a complete lemon, after one year warranty had to have so many repairs done. After a little over two years it died, it stopped cooling the food. I had no fridge over Xmas that year as I had to order a new fridge which took 6 weeks. My whole kitchen had been designed around the fridge as I Loved the look of it. So I purchased the same fridge but bought the expensive 5 year warranty. I am on my third service call as it has a massive build up of ice in the fridge as is not keeping the food cold enough. 2 lemons in a row from Whirlpool on a very expensive top of the line fridge!! Ridiculous, hard to get quality these days!

I have had this for about a year and love how it cleans up so nicely. Easy peasy. Works well. I just came to replace my filters. Customer Support with Whirlpool HAS BEEN AMAZING, I leaned in the fridge to clean the back and leaned to hard on the plastic of the bottom shelf and cracked it. I have a new piece coming in no time. Wow I will always buy Whirlpool. Thanks so much for a great appliances. I love them all.

I'm satisfied with the brand but not with the 3rd party company that I delivered the appliance. The freezer makes sounds which is normal with all brands.
