4.8 cu.ft HE Top Load Washer with Built-In Water Faucet, Intuitive Touch Controls

I bought this to replace a 22 yr old washer and I absolutely love it! It's quiet, options for quicker wash and deep water are wonderful!

I bought this washer from Lowes 18 months ago. My wife likes it and it washes well until now. During a wash cycle the machine stopped and kept the lid locked. The electronic panel went dark. I went online and pulled up a troubleshooting guide which mentions a few steps to take. The main step was to make sure there was power to the machine. I am an electrician and I did have power at the control board where it plugs in. The next step was if their is power then the control board needs to be replaced. I called Whirlpool customer service and they gave me a number of a local repair company. Just to walk in the door they wanted 89.99 plus a truck charge. I decided to replace the board myself. This is not rocket science it is plug and play. After purchasing the board for 289,99 I installed. The board had a small green light embedded within the control board that flashes. It did unlock the lid and my wife retrieve our close that were held hostage for a week. The panel stilld does not light up. SO I called Whirlpool customer service this morning to ask a ttech a question about this. The response was we do not have techs, but we would be happy to give you a number of a servile company. So it sappers that after wasting nearly 300.00 dollars I am not going to par another company to come in and say it is the control panel!!!!!! For Christmas I guess I will by my wife another new washer, but not a Whirlpool

I purchased this exact set back in April when we moved into our new house. It worked amazing for about a month and then it stopped working. We kept getting the “LF” light on the machine. It took almost 2-3 weeks for a technician to come out and repair it. He had to come out 2x because they had sent him the older model part instead of the newer version. It came out to be that the water level sensor in the machine was faulty, causing the “LF” light. For a brand new product, I would have expected Whirlpool to have longer lasting equipment. The technician said that this was a common issue with this machine. After having the water sensor replaced, it works just like brand new. I just would have expected for a Whirlpool brand to last longer than a month before it needed service. Maybe it’s something that Quality Control from Whirlpool needs to investigate....

I got the machine a month ago and it seems to be working well the only down side is that I washed an old blanket in it and the next number of washes fluff from the blanket keeps appearing on other clothes even though I cannot see it in the drum
