Does not maintain temperature

The cooktop keeps turning on and off. My average time to cook anything has doubled (or rather tripled) because of this. Even something basic such as cooking eggs takes a lot of time.I need to plan 2 hours ahead before making a meal.Highly disappointed!!

Purchased this appliance in late 2016 after owning an electric stove coil top/oven. Shortly after purchasing I notice discoloration around the large front drip pan. Read Use&Care Manual for care and use and followed. After some use the paint shows discoloration. I had four visits with service companies and a replaced top, still after a few days noticed the same. "Buyer beware - Don't waste your money on a cheap painted product that Frigidaire sells
