I had the smaller version of this microwave for six years before it started sparking. I purchased this one and I am very disappointed. The off-gassing smell never went away after several days and uses. There were banging sounds when in use that did not sound normal. The glass turntable was rocking too even though the wheels on turntable holder were fine. I didnt want to endanger my health so I returned it.

I replaced an old microwave with this new LG and it is performing well. I like the look of it and it is a real plus not having to use a number key pad for simple cooking and reheating. The size is more than adequate for what I need and I am happy with my purchase.

Broke down after 6 months of use

I had high hopes for this microwave but it broke down after only 6 moths and when we tried to contact LG customer service was horrendous and it took several calls to get any help or response.
