Pretty but needs constant repairs

We bought the refrigerator in November of 2020. Since that time weve had to have the craft ice cube maker repaired and/or replaced at least 8 times. Recently the refrigerator quit cooling 2.5 year old refrigerator the craft ice cube maker went out and the indoor water/ice dispenser quit working. The refrigerator is pretty and I loved the craft ice cube and right-side door options but it was a poor quality product that we are having to replace at only 2.5 years old.

Truly an innovative design regarding dust collection points underneath basically none temperature control and ice making. Separate door-in-door which can be lighted without opening is a super idea. Love the craft ice Unfortunately despite double filtration upstream from the unit our well water has enough impurities to cause the craft ice maker to get scratched enough after 12 months twice so far to not release the ice.

Ice makers are noisy and break. Luckily I had bough an extended warranty that was also pricey Apparently you dont get what you pay for

Ive had this refrigerator for a few months now and Im really enjoying the see through door and the crazy big round ice cubes. So cool for many fancy occasions. Everyone enjoys how they last in your drink. This refrigerator is the best Thanks LG

I love EVERYTHING but the craft ice maker

This fridge rocks. Its not as big as I had hoped but I had to have counter-depth so theres that. The regular ice maker gets stuck all the time but its not as big of an issue as the craft ice maker. IT ONLY WORKS 1/10 of the time. I have to reset it at least once a week. The craft ice maker gets stuck in the drop position and will not go back up to fill with water. What a pain. I wish I researched it more - there are a ton of articles out there about how it does not work.
